Dog-Ear Poetry

At The Found Poetry Review, a contest is going on until October 31, 2013.  The challenge? To find poetry in the corner of a page.  It’s called dog-ear poetry.  Here are some dog-ear poems I found in The Origin of Consciousness In The Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind by Julian Jaynes:

This one is “The Experimenter” and this guy is a professional in the skill of discovery

Experimenter

And this one, “The Weakening” demonstrates the limitations in dog-ear found poetry

  1. What a coinky-dink! I’m re-reading Jaynes’ book myself (though second time around I find it even more profound and even a bit disturbing). Thanks for the post. Interesting!
